As a proudly family-owned and operated farm and butchery, we take pride in delivering quality meat to our customers. We source our meat directly from our farm and have full control in every step of the process.

Our hormone-free, growth-stimulant-free, and routine antibiotic-free meat reflects our dedication to quality.
Own livestock
Our meat comes directly from our Simbra herd, a breed that is known for its adaptability, versatility and natural disease resistance. Through careful breeding and management, we strive to produce well-marbled meat that is tender and full of flavour.
On-farm abbattoir
Our on-farm abattoir grants us control over the entire process, and full traceability. It allows us to minimise transportation stress, improve animal welfare, and reduce the risk of disease transmission, all contributing to the quality of our products.

Our routes run across flowy hills and clean rivers that provide a home to all our farm animals.

Routes
3KM NATURE WALK
Complete the 3km route at your own pace, or join the guided Nature walk hosted by Boom & Co to learn more about the beautiful surroundings.
Join Boom&Co for a guided meander through the pristine grasslands, over the rocky outcrops and around the beautiful wetlands of Glen Aggy, exploring the plants and creatures that call this hyper biodiverse area home.
During this gentle hike, we'll be looking for the pretty flowers, the special plants, the funny creatures and the beautiful birds, telling their stories and revealing their magic. Covering around 2.5km, the eco-walk is suitable for all ages and anyone with moderate physical ability.

5KM FUN RUN
Our 5km hike/fun run is exactly what it says. All members of the family can come and enjoy the beautiful scenery of our farm and enjoy the open air. The route will start and finish at Glen Vleis, with 129m of vertical climbing, lots of jeep track and some single track, the route is just challenging enough to get all the muscles working. There will be one waterpoint on the route, so no need to bring your own water and snacks. The route is rocky, so strollers are unfortunately not an option.
10 KM TRAIL RUN
Our 10km route is aimed at any runner looking to have a great time. The route will start and finish at Glen Vleis, with 280m of vertical climbing, lots of jeep track and spectacular views of our farm. It is going to be one of the most beautiful routes that you have done. There will be three waterpoints on the route, so no need to bring your own water and snacks.
23 KM TRAIL RUN
Our 23km route is aimed at the avid trail runner and will be a tough challenge to all runners. The route will start and finish at Glen Vleis, with 562m of vertical climbing, lots of jeep track, and some single track, water crossings and breath-taking views of our farm. It is going to be a route that will stay with you for some time. It is a tough run so keep that in mind for your training leading up to the race. There will be six waterpoints on the route to keep you replenished and motivated.
AFTER THE RACE
All runners will receive a Glen Aggy Trail Run medal after completion of your race.
Prize giving will be at 11:00
Glen Vleis will be open for all your meat, coffee and snack needs. Additional food stalls will be available for other delicious food and beverages.
